Supported Services Site Manager

Summary

This is a valuable position on the Supported Services team. Responsible for program development, quality assurance, compliance with state and federal regulations and agency policy/procedure. Serves as primary liaison to families, day services, and other support agencies. Supervises and supports Direct Support Professionals (DSPs).

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Interview and hire applicants.
  • Provide supervision, performance feedback, training and discipline to staff.
  • Supervise, monitor and communicate pertinent information to the Supported Services Coordinator, Director and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Assist in reviewing accuracy of time sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations and CARF Accreditation.
  • Assist Case Manager in developing Individual Support Plans.
  • Monitor financials and SNAP benefits to ensure federal and state compliance.
  • Responsible for submitting all financial documents and receipts by due dates.
  • Monitor monthly summaries of Supported Services programs and ensure submission deadlines.
  • Maintain appropriate and timely contact with individuals served, parents and outside consultants.
  • Attend Behavioral Support Plan (BSP) meetings and provide ongoing training for staff.
  • Complete and submit a Quality Assurance Report for each location managed monthly.
  • Submit maintenance requests as needed.
  • Assist with new admissions, transitions and discharges.
  • Complete all online incident reports, conduct all necessary investigations and notify Supported Services Coordinator and Director of all incidents.
  • Review and oversee scheduling of Direct Support Staff to maintain proper staffing ratios.
  • Provide on-call support for site managers.
  • Cover Direct Support Shifts as needed to ensure the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Maintain and valid driver’s license and be prepared to transport if needed.
  • Participate in continuing education.
Qualifications

High School Diploma Required. Two-year supervisory experience required. A Bachelor’s Degree or two years’ paid professional experience in social services preferred.

  • Interpersonal skills including an ability to work with individuals with intellectual disabilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of individuals served information.
  • Ability to maintain scheduled hours.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to learn keyboarding and computer skills.
  • Ability to perform basic business mathematics.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds, bend, stoop, reach and perform repeated keyboard operations.
  • Ability to advise and supervise subordinates.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license.
  • Not convicted of a felony.
