Supported Living Site Manager

Reports to:  Supported Services Coordinator

This is a valuable position on the Supported Services team. Responsible for the daily delivery of support services to consumers. Supervises staff and ensures the needs of individuals receiving services are met. Responsible for services and maintaining compliance with agency and State policies and regulations at all times. Provides direct supervision, coaching and training to the supported services specialists working with consumers. Responsible for covering shifts only when no other coverage can be found or in case of emergency.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety of individuals and ensure that medications and all health treatment is documented daily.
  • Ensure that all staff are trained on high risk plans, behavior plans and ISP goals for all individuals served.
  • Ensure that all documentation at sites is done accurately and without error every day.
  • Monitor the completion of daily paperwork, correspondence, and maintain permanent records.
  • Ensure that all site staff are aware of all medical appointments and that individuals arrive at appointments on time.
  • Ensure that staff hours are scheduled according to consumers hours budgeted for each site and adjust accordingly.
  • Monitor and record that all individual finances are accurate and all monies are kept in safe location.
  • Ensure that all billing and financial paperwork gets turned in by given deadlines each month.
  • Provide for basic housekeeping, upkeep, and maintenance of site and site vehicles on an ongoing basis.
  • Conduct on-site interviews with perspective staff.
  • Provide on-going supervision, performance feedback, training and discipline.
  • Review timesheets, time off requests and reimbursement requests for accuracy.
  • Ensure Medicaid and Social Security correspondence is turned into Social Services Coordinator in timely manner.
  • Serve as a liaison to families, day service programs, and other support agencies.
  • Participate in on-going training and education, including management training and annual Reasonable Suspicion Training.

A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services or Social Work and one year experience preferred or High School Diploma and three years’ experience working with people with developmental disabilities.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Interpersonal skills including an ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of individual information.
  • Ability to maintain scheduled hours to advise and supervise subordinates on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to learn keyboarding and computer skills and to perform basic business mathematics
  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Ability to lift 20 pounds, bend, stoop, reach and perform repeated keyboard operations.
  • Ability to follow plans that address a consumer’s needs.
  • Not convicted of an abuse, neglect or position relevant felony.
