DIRECTOR OF WAIVER SERVICES

Department:  WAIVER SERVICES

Reports to:  EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

FLSA Status:  SALARIED

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision, performance feedback, training, and discipline to Clubhouse, In Home and Supported Services staff.
  • Supervise, monitor, and communicate pertinent information to Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer.
  • Assist in reviewing accuracy of time sheets.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and CARF Accreditation.
  • Schedule and ensure all current mandatory staff training and maintain current training records
  • Maintain and record monthly contact with individuals and employers.
  • Report monthly individual progress towards goals to all individuals, families, employers, case managers and team members.
  • Represent In-Pact at all quarterly and annual ID Team meetings.
  • Report and record information requested by the Executive Director and/or Chief Operating Officer.
  • Ensure compliance with CARF, BQIS, BRS, Medicaid Waiver and other relevant regulations.
  • Participate in required staff meetings and in-service training.
  • Develop new business
  • Review and oversee scheduling to maintain proper staffing ratios.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and be prepared to transport if needed.
  • Other duties as requested by the Executive Director and/or Chief Operating Officer.
Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience preferred
• 2 years’ experience in program development, coordination and implementation preferred.
• No felony, abuse or neglect convictions
• VALID driver’s License & Favorable driving record
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach and lift up to 20 lbs.

  • Interpersonal skills including an ability to work with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information.
  • Ability to maintain scheduled hours.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations.
  • Ability to problem-solve.
  • Ability to advise and supervise subordinates in a professional manner.
