Role Description

As the Chief Operating Officer, I am responsible for managing the agency’s day-to-day operations that they run efficiently and effectively to drive growth and long-term success. I work closely to oversee nursing services, the group homes, waiver services: supported services, community resources, in-home and transportation.

What is something that people with disabilities have to deal with that you want to fix?

The perception that they need to be fixed or changed verses how you communicate with them, how you interact/react with them, &/or if their environment is adapted to help set them up for success.

What’s your past experience?

I have over 35 years of experience in this field with most of them being with In-Pact. I have a BS in Human Services with a concentration in Social Work.

What do you like about working at In-Pact?

In-Pact was founded by parents and continuing with their vision and dream for their loved ones is very meaningful. In-Pact is also one of the very few agencies left that is not-for-profit.

Tell us something about yourself.

I grew up in the county on a working farm that has been in our family for over 100 years. We all still live on a part of the original farm to this day.

What are the values that drive you?

Consistency, perseverance, and trust are core values that I hold for the individuals and employees to know what we as an agency stand for, that decisions are made thoughtfully and fairly so that everyone feels secure in their roles.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

Camping or what some would say is glamping, going on short staycations within approximately a 50-60 mile radius to explore new places/activities, and spending time with family.

What’s your favorite quote?

“What you permit, you promote. What you allow, you encourage. What you condone, you own.” – Anonymous
