As Training Coordinator at In-Pact, I lead New Employee Orientation and provide ongoing staff development throughout the year to ensure our team is equipped to deliver high-quality support. I also coordinate and facilitate engaging programs for the individuals we serve, including H.E.R.O.S., a monthly social event designed to foster connection and community. In addition, I facilitate Art Within, a creative arts group, and Friendship Union, a self-advocacy group focused on addressing concerns and strengthening self-advocacy skills.
One of the greatest challenges individuals with disabilities face is unnecessary limitations. I am passionate about empowering individuals to live their fullest lives by helping remove barriers and expanding opportunities for independence, choice, and personal growth.
I have dedicated much of my life to working and volunteering alongside individuals with a wide range of disabilities. Within the community services field, I have held several roles, including Direct Support Professional (DSP), Program Manager, and Structured Family Care Coordinator. I also gained valuable experience working in the medical field.
On a personal level, I am the parent of a 25-year-old son with autism, which has given me a unique perspective and a deep understanding of navigating life both as a professional and as a family member supporting a loved one with a disability.
I value the opportunity to empower our employees to become exceptional support professionals. It is equally rewarding to see the individuals we serve actively engaged in events, building friendships, and enjoying meaningful experiences within their community.
I have lived in Northwest Indiana for most of my life and am a proud parent of four children, three sons and one daughter. As they have grown into adulthood or are preparing to, I have found great joy in watching them establish their own paths in life.
Integrity, growth and accountability.
In my free time, I enjoy beach days, reading, shopping, traveling, attending concerts, and playing video games.
