Role Description

Processes invoices/bills that our group homes and supported sites incur, such as gas, electric, water, cable, phone, supplies, medicines, etc.

Issue checks to staff for reimbursements and/or mileage, keep track of maintenance done on the company vehicles.

Check and code all grocery receipts and gas receipts that go into spreadsheets.

What is something that people with disabilities have to deal with that you want to fix?

I wish that they would be treated the same and given the same respect as others.

What’s your past experience?

When I originally started at In-Pact, Inc. I was the Receptionist and a few years later moved into Supported Services, as the Administrative Assistant. Years’ past I worked at law firm and Asst. Office Manager at Chiropractor’s office.

What do you like about working at In-Pact?

The family of co-workers. In-Pact has allowed me the opportunity to learn new skills.

Tell us something about yourself.

I grew up in Calumet City, IL, after being born and living the first eight years on the Southside of Chicago. Moved to Indiana in my mid 20s.

No favorites, just enjoy a good mystery.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

I enjoy crafting such as making wreaths, floral arrangements, tole painting, etc. In the summer it’s gardening, especially flowers and following YouTube videos to create the perfect one….I have a long way to go. Always fun going to concerts, car shows and hockey games.
