Role Description

As a Day Program Manager at In-Pact, I oversee the daily operations of the clubhouse and ensure the delivery of quality programming for individuals with developmental disabilities. I support staff, coordinate schedules, maintain compliance, and create engaging programs that promote independence, community involvement, and overall well-being. I strive to foster a positive, supportive environment for both staff and the individuals we serve.

What is something that people with disabilities have to deal with that you want to fix?

One of the biggest challenges is being underestimated or not always having their voices heard. I’m passionate about advocating for individuals to be treated with respect, included in decision-making, and given opportunities to grow, build independence, and be active members of their communities.

What’s your past experience?

I have over 10 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities. I also spent 3 years working in a special education cooperative, where I supported students in developing life and social skills. Throughout my career, I’ve gained strong skills in leadership, communication, and person-centered support.

What do you like about working at In-Pact?

I enjoy being part of a team that truly cares about the individuals we serve. It’s rewarding to create meaningful programs and see individuals build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy their daily experiences. I also value the supportive environment among staff.

Tell us something about yourself.

I enjoy staying active and being involved in my community. I’m passionate about roller derby, which has helped me build teamwork, leadership, and resilience. I also teach fitness classes, including Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold, which allows me to share my passion for health and wellness with others. Outside of that, I love spending time with my daughter and family, who are a big part of my life and keep me motivated every day.

What are the values that drive you?

I’m driven by compassion, respect, and integrity. I believe in advocating for others, leading by example, and creating an environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

When I’m not working, I enjoy playing roller derby with my local team, South Shore Roller Derby, and volunteering in the community alongside my team. I also enjoy creative hobbies like crocheting and using my Cricut, as well as spending time outdoors fishing, paddleboarding, and bird watching.

What’s your favorite quote?

“Be the change you wish to see in the world.”
