Role Description

I support and assist with services for our folks day to day living. I assist with advocating for our individuals, while encouraging them to advocate for themselves. I coordinate alongside other team members on behalf of our individuals health and safety and ensure that all rights are respected and protected.

What is something that people with disabilities have to deal with that you want to fix?

Individuals have a difficult time integrating into the community. I work really hard, to help provide community outing opportunities and supports to help our folks have positive experiences in the community.

What’s your past experience?

I have been in this field since 2014. I started out at Indiana Mentor as a DSP and became a House Manager in 2016 and remained in that position until my departure in 2020. I then found In-Pact in 2021 and started as a DSP. I have since then worked my way up to my current position.

What do you like about working at In-Pact?

Working at In-Pact has impacted my life. I have had the opportunity to see our folks set goals and succeed in them. I have seen with love and care how much our folks can thrive and achieve independence. I could give an abundance of reasons as to why I like working for In-Pact but if I had to choose the most important reason I would have to say, I like working at In-Pact because I can actually make a difference.
