Role Description

I am the Group Home Manager at Sherwood.

What is something that people with disabilities have to deal with that you want to fix?

I want to assist individuals with disabilities in being able to more effectivity communicate with the population as a whole.

What’s your past experience?

I have a MA and BA in Communications and I am also licensed in Elementary Education. I have over 15 years teaching experience, 5 of which was working with the special needs population.

What do you like about working at In-Pact?

I enjoy working at In-Pact because my role here allows me to help empower individuals with the skills and tools they need to live fulfilling lives. I believe heroes are everyday people who work to overcome their obstacles and never give up on their dreams.

Tell us something about yourself.

I grew up on the South side of Chicago where I loved playing hopscotch, double dutch, four square and many other games that allowed me the opportunity to play with the neighborhood kids.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my 2 nephews, Nio 10 and Nikko 13, both whom are named after me. We love to go bike riding, swimming, to amusement parks, the zoo and any place we can have fun and find adventure.
