Indiana Epilepsy Services (IES) is a program
funded through a grant from the Division of
Disabilities, Aging and Rehabilitation Services.
The purpose of IES is to develop a network of
education, information, referral, counseling,
and medical services for persons with epilepsy.
Northwest Indiana Epilepsy Services is a
division of IES serving Benton, Carroll, Jasper,
Lake, LaPorte, Newton, Porter, and White
counties in Indiana. |

Services Provided by NWI Epilepsy Services |

Free Epilepsy in-services that are individually
structured to meet the needs of any specific
group or organization (schools, church groups,
etc.).

Free brochures on Epilepsy ranging from general
information to specific topics such as driving,
legal rights, education, etc.

Reading, visual aids and other materials are
available for loan.
-
Monthly Epilepsy support groups and information
on other area groups.
-
Quarterly newsletters and updates on new
information and special programs.

Listing of area neurologists, neurosurgeons and
epilepsy clinics.

Information on obtaining medical insurance and
antiepileptic medications.
-
Assistance, information and referrals for
specific problems related to epilepsy and
seizure disorders.
